Hello, my name is Rachel and I am a 26 year old female from Ireland. I graduated from university in 2020 with my bachelors degree in early years and childhood studies and I have 6 years experience of working with children and young people. I was a nanny for a family in my local area where I took care of 3 kids aged 3-7. After I graduated university I worked in a local school working with vulnerable children at risk of early school leaving. I then got offered a position in a police diversion project where I worked with young people aged 12-18 who were involved in anti social behaviour. My role was to divert them from this lifestyle and implement interventions to make positive changes. I adored this line of work and I have a real passion for making an impact in the lives of young people. I have recently moved to Sydney with my partner and I am loving it so far. I have a full drivers license, I am a non smoker and I also have my working with children check number for paid employment.
