I grew up as one of the eldest of all of our extended family, having sisters 5 years younger than me and cousins on average 10 years younger. I babysat regularly throughout my teens and into my 20's before having my own daughter at 27. She's now 9, and along with my sister's and friend's children I've spent the last 9 years involved in childcare constantly.
