Hello! My name is Phoebe and I currently work full time at a primary school, as an SSO. Which stands for school services officer OR student support officer. I work in a reception class and assist with the children’s behaviour and learning. It is a category 1 school which means it has a very low socioeconomic background and a lot of the children are trauma affected. I am on work holidays and I do not get paid within my role at the school for the holidays so I am seeking some part time work for the next 3 weeks, and I future school holidays also. I love kids and have plenty of nieces and nephews that I regularly look after so it’s not just my school experience that I have. I studied child care for almost a year and worked in a childcare setting for a little while also. I believe there is nothing better than building a relationship with kids and seeing them grow in many ways. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!
