I've helped raise 2 great children who are now 2 amazingly compassionate, responsible, and loving adults. I have an I.Q. of 153 and love using it to help others. I consider children to be small adults and deserving of love, tolerance and respect. I encourage their creativity and curiosity, and allow them to have their own opinions and choices. That said, I'm not a pushover. While allowing them as much freedom as possible, I also let them know that there are acceptable ways to act and limits that have to be imposed, such as maintaining hygiene, not eating too much sugar or red food colouring, and agreeing to a set time for going to bed, etc.
