I have 6 years experience of looking after 7 children (from 2 families) aged 4-13. During term time my main focus was on the younger ones as the older ones went to a private school and arrived home later in the evening. My duties included pre-school, getting them ready, having breakfast, taking them to school. Post-school would be picking them up, organising dinner, taking them to after school activities, helping with homework. In school holidays it would be organising activities based on the weather, making lunches, baking. I would just like to make note that I don’t have a vehicle!! I would also babysit for these families, as well as others that reside in my village back home. Whilst babysitting I would respect the parents wishes for their children’s bedtime, I would organise activities throughout the evening so the kids aren’t bored or looking for things to do.
