Hi parents! My name is Olivia, I am 21 and currently work in early childhood education and care, as a room leader teaching a 3 year old kinder program full time! I have been in this role for just over a year and have fallen in love with the age group and following philosophies that encourage and promote agency and the environment as a third teacher to the child. It is my passion to instil a love of learning through play, encouraging children to explore and problem solve. I have nannied for three families, four children under the age of 5, my most recent job with a newborn! Alongside my nannying work, I also work as an after school care assistant, taking care of multiple children at once, assuring that they’re completing activities that are both educational and fun. I’ve loved taking care of children since the birth of my nephew in 2013, followed by my niece in 2018. I have complete my certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care. I enjoy taking care of children and assuring that they are getting the most out of everyday, learning new things and having fun!
