I am a childcare professional with over 15 years experience in the industry. I took a step away from childcare in 2016 and have been raising my own 2 children for the past 8 years.. I am now looking to return to casual/part time work to assist families juggle life with kids - I now understand first hand how challenging it can be! I have worked in many roles prior to becoming a stay at home parent including room leader positions in long day care, private nannying roles, operating my own contract babysitting business as well as managing the Daydream Island kids club prior to returning home to Tassie in 2014. I have exceptional references available upon request. My availability is somewhat flexible and I am able to care for children in my home or yours. Nina was excellent! I couldn't speak highly enough of her. I was organising care for four children (one of my own) and as the children were quite young (three who were ~9 months and another one who was 2 years) she was able to assist with bringing another baby sitter to assist with the adult to child ratio which the other parents and I were really happy with. It was the first time all of the children had been with babysitters who weren't family so the other parents and I were a little nervous but Nina's professionalism eased all of our concerns. She was very easy to contact leading up to the day and kept a very open communication line through the weeks leading up to the event which I really appreciated. Her calm and kind nature was extremely reassuring for myself and the other parents, and our little ones. She was flexible, adaptable and very accommodating, which is everything you want in a babysitter. Thank you Nina!
