I have 6 years in total experience working with kids, from babysitting to coaching. I have experience minding children with intellectual disabilities, as well as working with children in a migrant/refugee centre where patience and a trauma sensitive approach is vital. My experience as a rowing coach has given me great leadership skills and the confidence to uphold discipline and guidance when needed with children. My experience childminding a little girl with Down syndrome, as well as working with children who have experienced conflict, has instilled an immense amount of patience, understanding and compassion in me. In all, my previous experiences working with children has made me an all rounder, capable of handling various situations and circumstances, and more so has taught me so much about myself. I believe I am the best version of myself when I am working with children!
