I was a High School Mathematics teacher for 14 years up until 2019 which gave me experience with older children, however, I wanted to care for younger children. I have since gained experience in caring for younger children between the ages of 1 – 13 years. For over a year I have been caring for a one-year-old girl for two days a week. Also, for a year and a half, I have been looking after four primary school aged siblings for three mornings a fortnight. They range from five to eleven years old. I also have two children of my own who are 10 and 13. I have experience in caring for children of all ages, am responsible and reliable. I have a caring, friendly, and approachable demeanor that makes it easy to create positive relationships with children. I have a current Working with Children. I have my car license and my own transport. I am a non-smoker and am comfortable around pets. I am flexible with my availability; however, I do have my own family commitments, mostly on a weekday afternoon. At this point I am available weekdays between school hours: about 9 am to 3 pm, from the 5th of February. I am open to a discussion about when care is required.
