Both of my parents are teachers - my mum teaching at special schools for most of her career. Before I started Uni, I would often go and visit her after school and meet the children in her classes. Before I turned 18, I was in the scouting movement for 7 years and spent nearly every weekend at camps and activity groups helping and teaching the younger sections. In achieving my Queen Scout, I also volunteered as a youth leader at family events, such as KAOS in Anglesea, so I have a good amount of experience cooking and coordinating and teaching, even in large numbers. I also am lucky enough to spend time with my neighbors' children, who started their beautiful family about three years ago.
