My experience includes living on a dairy farm for a few months as a live in au pair. I was taking care of 4 children, everyday, all day due to them all being off school for the summer holidays. Their ages ranged from 10 months to 7 years old. I would ensure every morning the children had breakfast, were dressed, asked them what activities they wanted to do throughout the day. I would also have duties on the farm to go and feed the calves. I would also manage my time in a manner that allowed me complete housework while the children were either napping or occupied with an activity or some down time watching TV. I can help with homework, and any extra cirrciular subjects or activities. I absolutely love cooking and enjoy getting the children involved in this if they are old enough to do so! I also went on a trip away with the family as I was with them over Christmas, I took the children, plus their cousins swimming, to the park, and generally kept them entertained so the adults of the family could enjoy their festive period with a little less stress.
