My name is M’kenzie Morrison I am currently enrolled at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, where I am currently undertaking an undergraduate course (Bachelor of Education Birth to Five Years). Having worked at the Forbes Preschool for the past 5 years, I have learnt a variety of different skills and activities to create an optimal experience for children’s education. I enjoy assisting and caring for others, making decisions and solving problems, observing and monitoring children's play and activities, helping educate children in health and personal practices. I love engaging in group times, I am also happy to participate in activities and games. I have previous child care experience. My job was to educate children while making them feel safe and secure; it provided me with experience and an understanding of the importance of culture, beliefs and being a part of a services and the community. I love working with children and being able to help educate them in the right way to provide optimal education and meet each child’s individual needs. I also have a beautiful 1 year old who I adore!
