During my gap year, I worked at the Alice Springs Steiner School with early childhood groups between three and five years. This was an incredibly rewarding experience and I loved playing with the children and supporting their growth in a wholesome and caring environment. After leaving the school I did nanny and babysitting work for many of the parents from the school which allowed me to continue to develop positive relationships with the children and the community. I love getting creative and facilitating art sessions, reading, playing music and singing and love to get out and about and explore local parks and wildlife. I have lots of hands on experience looking after my five young cousins (all under 6!) and spending time with them is one of my favorite things. I have experience changing nappies and bathing children as well as putting them to bed and facilitating bed time routines.
