Hi, my name is Mikayla. I am a first-year nursing student at Deakin. I completed high school at Damascus College in Ballarat in 2020 and have since began my Bachelor of Nursing which I love. Through my degree I have learn CPR and first aid, I also hold a working with children's check and can provide a police check if needed. I have a driver’s license and my own car for my own transport and for pickups and drop offs if necessary. I have baby sat my young nieces and nephews from newborn up to 4 years old. I have assisted in a family day care with children up to school age and have trained as a swimming teacher for children from the ages 4 to 12. I believe I am experienced with working with children from a young age and can provide them with support and care that they need growing up. I like to work with parents to ensure I am offering the care they desire for their child/children to make sure they feel their child is in safe, loving, and healthy environment. I want children to feel they are comfortable with me by creating an engaging relationship with each individual child. I would love the opportunity to help you and your family.
