At the beginning of 2023 I started working at an outside school hours care as an educator, which I have now worked at for 2 years, supervising, and helping to provide fun activities for children from prep to grade 6, to engage in and have fun before and after school. Last year I worked at a childcare centre for part of the year, where I got to experience working with children from 3-months-4years old. I mainly worked in the nursery and with toddlers, where I helped look after, feed bottles, put to sleep, and entertain them with toys and games, to help them feel happy, safe and comfortable, while continuing to grow and develop. I plan on continuing to work at the outside school hours care, but would love to also experience some nannying. I would love the opportunities to help out some families, and get more experience working with younger children.
