Hi I’m a Mum of 2 grown sons & a grandmother.I am of Maori descent and have come from a rural sheep and cattle farm on the East Cape,North Island of NZ I’m from a large family of 11 and have helped with the raising of my nieces,nephews and now their children. I’m a qualified teacher with 35 years experience teaching in Primary and Secondary and have held positions as a Deputy Principal and Principal. I have been relieving at State and Secondary Schools for the last 8 months and completed a contract at Darling Point Special School in December Manly.I now want to continue my own learning adventure by still being involved with the education of children through being a care giver and helping more child/ren in their ongoing learning journeys.I enjoy outfoor activities swimmmng, visits to parks , nature walks & also cooking, inside activities , reading and creative activities which further develop a child’s learning.I can also easily manage the running’s of a home providing quality care and learning opportunities that have positive keaning outcomes for all those involved.
