Hi parents! My name is Melissa and I'm a 23 year old girl who just moved here from The Netherlands on a working holiday visa. I'm currently looking for work in the area and I would love nothing more than to go back to taking care of children. I have multiple years of babysitting experience for family and friends and in 2022 I decided to take a step extra and I became a live-in Au Pair for 2 lovely boys in Germany, a newborn and a 2 year-old. I left this amazing family 8 months later to move to Portugal last summer but have visited them multiple times since, they are still a big part of my life. Being outdoorsy myself, my favorite days at work are the ones where I take the kids out to do fun stuff. I like to take the initiative to go out and explore, or do some cool things out of the ordinary. That being said, I absolutely do not mind spending days crafting inside, doing homework, or reading. It's all about balance. :) Most of my experience is with kids aged 1-6 but I have no problem taking care of kids older than that.
