I'm Melissa, 42 years old, originally from New Zealand. I'm a qualified educator who has worked in long day care for 10 years with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and following that as a nanny for 5 years in Melbourne for several families with children ranging between 6 months and 10 years. I'm a kind, reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable child carer. I can quickly form trusting relationships with children and will engage in play with them on subjects that they enjoy. I encourage children to express their feelings and help them feel secure while keeping them safe. I'm happy to do those little jobs around the house that need done and am competent at preparing and serving children's food, bathing, changing nappies, bottle feeding and sleep routines.
