Hi, I'm Melissa from Germany. I'm 21 years old and I'm currently on my second work and travel year. I came to Australia with my boyfriend in September 2019. We have already lived with a single mother in Perth, who had a 1 year old baby, a 9 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. I had to take care of the baby as the mother was often absent. We also lived with a family, who had a 3 month old baby, a 2 year old son and a 5 year old son. Most of the time I had to look after the two older boys, like helping the children get dressed, bathing, brushing teeth and things like this. I also did the laundry and a few other household chores. I've also worked in housekeeping and gained experience in that area. We currently live in Mascot in a shared accommodation.
