After enjoying a successful career in Veterinary Nursing as well as embracing the opportunity to work and travel in England and Europe, my husband’s job was transferred to Port Hedland Western Australia. While living in Port Hedland, I came across the opportunity to start a Family Day Care. Since starting the Family Day Care I have become passionate about child development and ensuring physical, emotional, intellectual, social and creative needs of the children are met. I enjoy planning activities, encouraging the children's interests as well as celebrating their achievements. These interest have lead me to enrol in the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care which I am currently completing. I have also completed Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education and Care Settings and have a current Working with Children Check for Western Australia and Victoria. Now that I have moved back to Melbourne I am eager to continue my career in child care and complete the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
