Hi there, nice to meet ya!! I have been working in the youth work industry for the past year or so and have worked with young people aged 2-18 years with a variety of complex needs and behaviours. Before this I was working as a Nanny for a family with two girls (8 and 12 years when I started). As your Nanny, I would be looking to communicate and work with you as the parent to maintain the same usual structure in the home when I’m with them (I believe consistency is very important for kiddies); help develop routines where necessary and also just have fun! I’m used to being quite hands on and taking the lead as I have been in a management team in residential youth care homes and find it rewarding to observe young people’s needs and come up with ways to meet these…. hope I don’t sound too intense lol! But I can be as involved or laid back as you want! I can just be a normal babysitter but my background has taught me to be more. I also loveeee big sibling groups!! I have completed a Diploma of Youth Work, TCI training (Theurapurtic Crisis Intervention) have a blue and yellow card, First-Aid and CPR and Driver’s license
