Having previous skills and experience within working with children, i have gained knowledge in the ways that i promote a safe and healthy environment for the children i take care of. I do this by organising fun games and art activities. My previous experience i worked in a creche for a year. This meant i was taking care of children from ages between 6 months - 13 years, with having up to 15 children at once. I currently work as a store Supervisor at Flip Out which is also around children daily that i interact with, and i work as a Student Learning Support Officer at a Primary School in Queanbeyan. With this experience i have learnt and understood children’s behaviours in maintaining a clean, safe and captivating atmosphere for the growth of children. I am willing to travel as i have my licence and car, i am flexible with hours both weekend and weekdays for multiple hours of a day, am able to pick up and drop off, take kids and stay with them to activities, prep food, and undertake any household duties. With my experience it has made me love working with children as it’s rewarding and i enjoy spending time with them and seeing how much i learn from them.
