I was a full time foster parent for a beautiful little girl who had special needs for 5 years. She came into my permanent care at age 4yrs and was reunited back to her family at 9yrs. I was involved in supervising the family visitations and was credited that if not for my love, care and stability given to her, she would not be in a position to be reunited with her birth family. In 2011 I was volunteering in Haiti, as a nanny of 6 little children, aged from new born babies just months old to toddlers up to 3 yrs. Also in 2012 I worked as a volunteer in Africa. My role there involved teaching preschool and school children English, as well as working in a orphanage, and also in a college for students who missed out on schooling which I taught English and basic business lessons.
