I have worked child minding two little irish girls for two years (full time) in Dublin and they were very happy with me, their mother Maedhbh even wrote me a recommendation letter, ask for it if you need. I was basically all day (10am to 6pm) in the house and I become a part of the family. My tasks were light cleaning, pick up and drop off, cooking and most important, playing with them. Even I am in Australia now Im still in touch with them. I miss them so much :)
