As a long-time children's ministry leader and childminder, I have had extensive and diverse opportunities to provide quality care and support to many children for over 5 years. The valuable mentoring and training received throughout these experiences have greatly influenced my passion for caring for young people. I have worked with a range of families and organizations to provide quality care to typically developing children and some with disabilities, from birth to early teens in the capacity of children's ministry leader, holiday camp leader, in-home after-school care provider, learning support teaching assistant, casual babysitter and big sister to our family's foster siblings. I uphold the highest of standards in personal and home hygiene, supporting healthy lifestyle choices, positive behaviour support and promoting early childhood development for the children and families I serve. I have a WWCC, driver license and my own car. I have experience in planning, collaborating on, and implementing daily routines, facilitating educational, physical, and social opportunities, preparing healthy balanced meals and snacks, as well as providing educational support to help every child thrive.
