Hi future families. My name is Madeline. I have been a nanny/au pair for the past 2 years. I have cared for gorgeous new borns to 9 years old. I have many personal attributes which fit the role. I am extremely organised, clean, full of initiative, friendly, outgoing, mature, socially aware and pay close attention to detail. Most importantly, I adore children. I thoroughly believe in children doing stimulating activities and I enjoy being apart of them; such as, crafts, sports, cooking etc. I believe a Nanny should be someone who not only attends to the child’s immediate needs, but also cares for their whole wellbeing. They should be firm and a person of authority to the children but warmth and a sense of friendship are equally as important. My hobbies include hiking, swimming, traveling, snowboarding, reading, baking (although I’m no Nigella), watching a good flick and spending time with friends and family! I do love a good game of cards or scrabble, although I can get a little competitive.
