For the past 2 years I have worked as a receptionist and Allied health assistant for a paediatric occupational/ speech and equine therapist clinic where I have assisted in group therapy sessions and kindergarten sessions. I have just completed my diploma in Community services and currently completing a certificate 3 in Allied health assistant. I have life experience with children with ADHD and trauma backgrounds as my mum has two aboriginal boys in her care aged 3 and 4. I have been in these boys lives since they were born. These boys and my current employment have given me the skills and knowledge I believe I need when working with individuals with disabilities. My passion is working with children and helping people within the community. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy spending time with my family.
