I'm a 21 yr old university student passionate about caring for and educating little ones. I am the eldest child in my family so looking after siblings and younger cousins has always been an important role in my life, and I have often been described as a caring, motherly and intuitive person when looking after children. I have been involved with sport pretty much my whole life, I have played basketball, netball, tennis and hockey. I have played hockey at a high level for many years now and have been involved with coaching junior and senior teams. I have previously worked as a dental assistant in children's dentistry and so looking after and assisting young ones has always been a major interest for me. I pride myself in my presentation and professionalism as well as prioritising safety, rules and boundaries. I am currently working in the hospitality industry managing a store and so I have experience working with teenagers and parents also. Although I do not have much experience in the professional childcare industry, I am a fast learner and can adapt quite quickly. I am an excellent communicator, and appreciate any feedback in this new role. I have a current Working with Children's Check and am also First Aid certified.
