Hi there! My name is Macy and I’m a first year nursing studying at Monash University, Clayton. I graduated secondary school in 2020, and now balance my studies, with part time work at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre, as a receptionist, as well as occasional work in COVID-19 vaccination administration. I have extensive experience with children, having provided care since the age of 13 years old for children aged 11 months-12 years. In the past, I have provided regular and ongoing care for a family of 3 children, aged 11 months, 4 years old, and 7 years old. My time with the children included preparing meals, taking them to the park and cinema, night time routines - bathing, reading etc. More recently, I have regularly babysat for my cousin, who is one year old, feeding and putting him to sleep as required. I have a passion for working with children of all ages and tailoring my care to their specific wants and needs. In the future, I hope to work in paediatric and neonatal nursing. Please note that my qualifications include a first aid certificate with CPR and a working with children’s check. I am triple vaccinated, and also have my probationary drivers license and own a car to transport children to and from various locations.
