Hi, My name is Lucy. I am 27 years old and have just returned back to Melbourne after living overseas working as a Nanny internationally in New York and London. I worked as a live in nanny with a family for 18 months caring for 2 girls aged 1 & 2. I was a sole carer for these children, doing their morning and night routines (bath, bed etc) as well as planning and organising their daily age appropriate activities. I also did nursery duties for the children. There was a lot of travel and overnights required with this job also. I have completed my Bachelor of education and have worked for 3 years in Melbourne as a Primary School teacher as well as 1 year in London ranging from 6-9 year olds. I am currently looking for some part time/ casual work over the school holidays. I am a friendly, trustworthy and enthusiastic person who understands the importance of structure and routine for children as well as nurturing the children and allowing the chance for imagination, creativity and exploration with age appropriate activities. I am organised and reliable and will always go above and beyond to help others.I have great communication skills and understand this type of work requires great flexibility.
