Hi my name is Loren. I am a 26 year old accountant, taking time away from the office and getting back into working with children, both with regular and special disability needs. I was a full-time child carer 4 years ago and being away from the industry had me realise how much this is definitely for me. Only reason I stopped, was due to working in up to 3 childcare’s that didn’t take any responsibility by best practice as they should have learnt whilst completing either their Cert III or Diploma. Children have the most interesting personalities and can be refreshing to communicate with. I come from a big Italian family where I’m taking care of children constantly and is also another reason that made me want to get back into the groove. I’m a constant happy person looking for ways to have fun and keep your child’s day brightened. I can cook, clean, help with homework etc, and your regular on the side duties will be no trouble at all. I have a loud and confident personality, which would have to be my biggest strength in handling children and tackling their trust in order to always receive their obedience.
