While in high school, my first child care experience was organising different activities for the youngest ones at school (10-11 years old). Once a week, my friends and myself played games with them, did some arts and crafts or even took them to a bowling centre or cinema. I also babysat a boy from the age of 1 to the age of 3 when his parents needed me. My last child care experience was working as a Demi Pair in New Zealand. I was looking after two girls (3 and 6 years old). While living with the family and therefore being able to spend as much time as possible together, I picked the girls up from school and day care every day. We had some afternoon snacks, played outside or inside, read books, went to swimming and dancing lessons and did homework. I also helped with the household. I sometimes watched the girls and took them to bed when their parents wanted to go out.
