I have been in the field of child care for the past 12 years … I’ve worked in boarding schools in both Toowoomba and Brisbane as a Senior House Mistress, better know to the children as their ‘House Mum’ … I’ve had the privileged of caring for boarders whose ages range from 10 to 17 years old. My highest priority whilst looking after these children was the duty of care I owed to them. The schools I worked at had very high standards and I received periodic training and personal development education.
