I am an experienced mother grandmother and a recently retired youth worker. I have worked as a trained therapeutic child care worker for a government organisation where I was required to provide live in care to children ranging from 12years to 16 years of age for 5 days out of 7 days each week. My role was to provide care in the home including food preparation, mentoring assistance with education and recreational activities. Ideally I would like to assist with the care of children in regards to before and after school care. I am happy to prepare meals and provide assistance to working parents where tasks are identified. After hours assistance is a consideration as required. I have recently retired as a youth worker and I enjoy working with young children and teens. I have a current WWC card and obtaining an updated Police Check will not be an issue. I have recently purchased a house in Shepparton to be closer to my sister and mother. I own a reliable and safe vehicle, and I maintain strong work ethics and confidentiality at all times.
