Hi, my name is Leah. I am only 18 years old but I have a lot of experience caring for children. I have two younger sisters and a ridiculous amount of younger cousins that have given me experience working with children of all ages. My youngest sister has just turned 1 this past April. Following her birth my mother decided to leave her job and start a family day care at home. My mum has been working in the childcare industry for over 10 years, having completed a Masters in Early Childhood Education. This past year I have assisted her in her work both caring over the children aged 0-10 and helping her to prepare learning resources. During school I studied child growth and development and had the opportunity to work with prep-aged children teaching them to further develop their skills and abilities. I also volunteered after school as an assistant netball trainer down at the local primary school, working with 9-12 year olds helping build their confidence and skills. I am an A/B student who is more than willing to help your children with their homework if needed. I am flexible with my duties and hours. I can help with light housework or any other duties if required.
