My name is Laura, I am from Portland, Victoria but I am currently living in Geelong at Deakin University Residence. I have a passion for working with children and this is why I decided to study Occupational Therapy as I hope to work in paediatrics upon completion of my degree. I have a background in paediatric experience, including a 4-week volunteer trip to Kenya, Deakin University placements, volunteer work at a local kindergarten and previous babysitting experience for children from a range of ages. I am always punctual will put in extra time and effort to ensure the best outcome for the child and their family. I am easy going and able to develop a repour with young children quickly. I am currently employed and look after a four year old boy with a complex disability, so I have a range of experience and am comfortable with children of all ages and needs.
