I started my career as a Nanny back in 1988 when I was 19yrs old..... I cared for 2 children - aged 6yrs & 11yrs. The following year,I had the opportunity to move to Vancouver, Canada & had the best experience of my life for 7 years. I nannied for 3 different families..... 6 yr old, 6 month old & a 3 yr old respectively. All three families were wonderful & they all gave me glowing references..... children are definitely very precious individuals. I returned to Australia in 1996 & have worked in a couple of schools as a Teacher Aid for a program thru Centrelink of which I totally had so much fun & fulfilment with all of the children - aged 5 to 8years old. Then I worked 2 years at Matthew Flinders Anglican College as an After School/Vacation Care Assistant, working with children aged 5 years to 13 years..... I was literally a big kid playing with younger kids, even when I was 7 months pregnant..... crafts, sports, snacks, farm animal excursions, puzzles, painting, etc. I have also raised (a now ) 18yr old daughter & she is the apple of my eye. I love to have fun, have a laugh, play; read; go for walks; swim; cook; garden; driving; crafts; puzzles & the list goes on. I am available Monday to Friday.
