My name is Laia, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Barcelona, but now I study in Brisbane. I love animals and that's why I'm vegan since 2016. I am very happy with my lifestyle and my philosophy. From the 5 years old I am in a scout group. I grew up there and I always say that thanks to him I am. Since 2017 I am a monitor of children aged 5 to 17, and there is nothing that makes me happier than educating children the way they did with me. They are divided into age groups in 5 groups. We do mountain tours, Easter and summer camps. In addition to colonies, we run activities every Saturday from 4 to 7 pm. That's why I was always surrounded by children. I have always been very active and hardworking. It is a very rewarding job. I like to spend time with the children and learn everything they can teach me every day. They learn a lot from us, but we learn more about them than we think. It's wonderful for me to see them grow with us and learn to be more independent.
