Hello! My name is Kirsty. I am studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Wollongong. I have recently moved from NZ ( I am a kiwi living the Wollongong life !). I have babysat since the age of 14 and nannied since 17. I formed close relationships with the families and children, caring genuinely about each child. The ages ranged 3 to 13 years, with 1-4 children. I enjoy kids’ outlooks and views, and it is lovely to immerse yourself in their innocent worlds. It is also fulfilling to be able to help out with any struggles older children are facing and encourage them! During school I worked with younger kids through being a Peer Support leader, and Deputy House Leader. Also, I was in the Social Services Council which organized numerous school events with this age group focus on wellbeing, learning, enjoyment and motivation. I completed a lifeguarding course, and have a Bronze Medallion qualification (incl first aid).
