Hello, my name is Kirsty. I live in Mernda with my husband and two children, Ryder 12 and Tia 10. I have been working as a carer for In Home Care for over five years. At In Home Care, we support families for a 13 week period. This is funded by the government under special child care benefits. It is to help families, where there is risk of neglect to their children, often due to mental health issues. We get parents back to being able to care for their children themselves. I have experience with multiple births, bathing, nappy and clothing changing, meal prep, putting to sleep, fun play and entertainment. During this time, I have helped many families, and I've found it very rewarding. Due to the changes the government has recently put in place, it has changed the whole dynamic of how we can help and support our clients. Hence I'm ready to take on a new challenge! I love reading and watching movies and the sun.
