I have been in the childcare industry since 2001 and have two grown up children. I have been a director of a childcare service and support children and their families in every day practices, by nurturing through to setting up child led engaging learning environments. Nutrition is also an important part of a child’s development and having nutritional meals supports children’s learn and development. Nurturing and supportive relationships builds confidence and trust for children which is so important to build the foundations in life.
