I have grown up in a large family where it wasn’t unusual for me to be left at home with my younger siblings. Both my parents had full time work and it was my responsibility to feed and care for my siblings when my parents weren’t around, as well as keep them occupied. I have also done casual babysitting looking after 3 kids after school and my responsibilities were: to feed them afternoon tea, give them fun activities, feed their pets and tidy up after. I am also able to grow positive relationships with young children quickly and make them as comfortable as possible.
