Hi families, I am a teacher of 30 years, specializing in 'early years Primary' and 'Special Education'. I hold a Diploma of Education (Primary) and a Bachelor of Education (Hearing Impairment and Deafness). Alongside babysitting experience, I have also co-lead a Community Playgroup, for children aged between 0-5 years and taught in various Preschools. Raising my own three children has been one of the greatest joys of my life and I have loved being a part of each stage of my children's development. I am a big believer in "play based learning", as it allows children the opportunity to explore their world, develop their imagination and learn about themselves, in age appropriate, creative ways. I love music and enjoy playing guitar and singing. It is also a great way for children to express themselves. I am a nurturer by nature and I love working with children and tending to their needs, whilst allowing them the space they need to express themselves and their individuality.
