During my many years experience working with children, I have worked within various positions. In that time, I have honed my skills as a carer and would describe my approach to children as innately nurturing with boundaries. I am very conscious of the emotional state of the children in my care and would say my strongest virtue in this industry would be my patience. I am very experienced in the art of handling tantrums and any of the big feelings associated with the toddler age group, in particular and feel very confident in my ability to allow a child to feel safe, happy and entertained in my care.
