Hi my name is Kathy and I have 26 years experience as a home based family day care educator, In this time I've catered to many families and I've worked with the parents as a team to bring the best out in each child and meet their needs. My longest family I had in care was 12 years and they are still very much part of our family. I have been recognised for my talents in offering children educational, spontaneous and fun learning experiences and often get feedback from teachers as to how school ready my little people are when they begin school. I love the outdoors and can offer messy and unrushed play I love being outside and think we can be outdoors in most weather as long as you are properly dressed, Indoor activities include music, reading, arts, crafts exploring and problem solving. I love to teach about sustainability and healthy foods. My training has covered many areas including first aid, child safety ,food handling, fire safety and Certificate 3 in Childrens services. I work under the umbrella of the Early Years Learning Framework following the 5 outcomes and principles. Im known for my intergrity,honesty, ability to adapt to peoples needs.
