I have had 30 years experience working in the childcare industry I have worked both in long day care centres with both mainstream and children with special needs, ages 6 months to 5 years i have worked in vacation care program during the school holidays. I have worked in Special Schools supporting students with their learning and supporting with their needs during the day. I have worked as a support worker providing in home respite care after school. to children aged 5 to 11 years where i sat an played games encouraged turn taking and sharing. I am currently working as a school services officer at a primary school at Elizabeth supporting students both in junior and primary classes. Over the years I have worked with children I have supported children with behaviour issues, from trauma backgrounds and children that are on the the autism spectrum.
