I grew up the oldest of four children, babysitting and child minding has been installed in me from when I was a child looking after child. I have a Masters in Psychology and I excelled in child development papers. It has always been important to me to support children with their development as this is the stepping stones for their future. I have had ample experience in babysitting. I have experience working with children with disabilities in addition to supporting youth with mental health needs. I have worked at after school care and holidays programme. I have recently relocated to Melbourne from New Zealand with my 3 year old to be close to family. For a year and a half leading to this move I was a live in Nanny. My main responsibilities were transport the children to multiple activities, supporting homework and music practise, observing mood and behaviour and being someone the kids could talk with. I am an open person and I am always happy to do what needs to be done, whether it’s cleaning, changing nappies, cooking or playing I don’t mind. I am also vigilant and a pro at spotting hazards thanks to my son. I have multiple references which will be shared gladly.
