I have worked in a childcare facility for approximately 3 years and have only recently left to be closer to family. I started off as a trainee studying my certificate 3 in early childcare, then after the completion of it I moved up to room assistant. both of which I was going between ages of 6 weeks to 5 years old. I furthered my career as I progressed up to a room leader for the ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Throughout this time, I did carry out another job working as a private NDIS disability carer for a teenage girl. helping with day-to-day tasks, socializing and doing occasional overnight stays. i come from a rather large family where my usual role is caring for the children and babysitting. My experiences have given me a plethora of skills that relate to roles of this regard.
