My name is Jenny, I come from Colombia. My passion for teaching started seven years ago when I worked as an Au Pair in the United States of America. After this, I moved to Melbourne to continue my studies in early childhood education. I have completed the necessary qualifications as per my attached resume. These qualifications have taught me a great deal about the Australian education system. For instance, I have developed a profound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). I’ve acquired knowledge and skills throughout my placements with children from newborns to five years olds, and also by working in the industry for three years as an assistant educator. This experience has allowed me to obtain organizational skills, and teamwork skills. I have also acquired experience working in partnership with parents by planning daily curricula and writing developmental observations. Additionally, I am creative, patient, and I possess great communication skills. I am a self-motivated person who enjoys working with children and supporting their development and learning journey.
