I am a mature career nanny with over 10 years experience in both Australia and England. I have had experience with children from birth to 11 years old. I have worked as a sole charge nanny and a mothers help. I have also had experience with twins and a child who had allergies (dairy, wheat and soy). I consider myself a firm but fun nanny believing children need a mix of structure and space to let their own personalities shine. Because happy parents lead to happy children I am also willing to muck in with whatever is needed to take pressure off the parents. This includes cooking for the whole family, housework, laundry, meal planning, shopping and general errands. I am also happy to do evening babysitting so parents can have a date night or attend adult functions. I can also provide proxy parenting for a few days at a time if the parents feel the need for a few days off. I am fun, kind and caring, down to earth (although slightly hippy). I am happy to play with children at their level, cook with them, read and sing (very badly). Daily outings are important so i love exploring extra curricular activities available in the area and expose children to different experiences.
